COMPASS –The COMPASS test is a computerized test and is not timed. All exams are taken in the University Testing Center located in Sherrod Library.
IMPORTANT COMPASS TESTING INFORMATION:
- Photo ID Required on day of test. Only calculators supplied by the University Testing Center may be used for Mathematics test.
- If you wish to challenge your DSP placement in DSP courses based on ACT/SAT scores or prior COMPASS test results a $20.00 non-refundable fee is charged. Students who have previously enrolled in a course and failed to complete the course successfully may not challenge Developmental Studies Program placement. This fee must be paid the day of the test. Placement may only be challenged once.
- Students who are required to take the COMPASS test for initial placement in DSP courses are not required to pay the $20.00 fee.
