- Legislative Branch composed of 14 Senators - one from each school
- Judicial Branch composed of 4 Justices
- Executive branch composed of one President and one Vice President
The purpose of the SGA is to be the voice of the students to the Permanent Staff members. SGA members help to upkeep and uphold the UB Constitution and Bylaws. They help both with Academic Year and Summer planning. SGA members also assist in the selection of Resident Advisors for the Summer Program. Senators, in particular, are a direct access and assistance to the constituents they serve at their local schools. SGA meets as needed (typically on Saturday's after the Upward Bound Saturday Session) with the rest of the communication coming via email.
