Admissions & Readmissions Advisory Committee

Reports to:

Vice President for Academic Affairs

Charge:

Review undergraduate admission and readmission standards and procedures and make recommendations for revisions.

Review documentation and hear appeals from undergraduate students who have been denied admission or readmission and render decisions to accept or reject those appeals subject to review and confirmation by the Provost.

Additional information:

The length of term amount is staggered to ensure continuity of this committee.  Deans will serve a three year term.  Department Chairs and Faculty will serve a two-three year term.

These committee meetings are held on an as-needed/ad hoc basis and will be located in the Admissions Conference Room (Burgin Dossett Hall – Room 106) unless otherwise noted.  Each meeting time varies and lasts approximately one to one-and-a-half hours.
