An official logo for East Tennessee State University's James H. Quillen College of Medicine was approved in 1994. This logo had its origins in the design featured on the College of Medicine banner used for display at all university commencement exercises. The banner's logo was redeveloped into a format incorporating ETSU colors as well as the color Green, which represents the discipline of medicine.
