Though publications are no longer printed on campus, the policies and procedures that address the printing of any and all ETSU materials remain in place for all ETSU employees. Don Barnett, manager of Printing & Publications, is available to answer any questions you may have as well as to coordinate the process for you and your department.
To discuss the details of your project, you can meet with Jeanette Henry, our graphic designer, regarding your design options. Don will help you with ink, paper and vendor selection. There is no cost to departments for graphic design done at Printing & Publications. Proofs will be provided to you and printing will only commence after you have signed off on your project.
To begin the process, estimates will be obtained
from vendors and provided to you. Once a vendor is selected, you
will need to click on the “Printing Services”
requisition within the eBucs procurement system to complete your
order. The eBucs system will automatically send a request for
approval to the manager of Printing & Publications.
Procards are NOT to be used for print or copy

Obtaining a TBR Number
All publications produced for distribution outside
ETSU (and certain publications that are not normally produced for
outside distribution) are required to carry a Tennessee Board of
Regents (TBR) number per state law which requires specific quality
and cost monitoring procedures that relate to publications. This
requirement applies regardless of state, grant, or private funding
sources or where the job is produced. Publications taken to
Printing & Publications are automatically routed through the
TBR proofing system.
