Attendance and Due Dates
Attendance: The English Department
says that if you miss more than nine classes, you fail the course. In addition,
I've set these two policies: 1) you may miss one or two classes with no
penalty; 2) if you miss from three to nine classes, I may lower your final
grade by a full letter, at my discretion.
Due Dates: Late work will not count
for a grade, and missed assignments cannot be made up. In the event that
you must miss class on a due date, send your work by email (odonnell@mail.etsu.edu)
or U.S. Mail (K. O'Donnell, ETSU English Dept JC TN 37614--post-marked
by due date is "on time").
