                                      i.    The motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the November 30, 2015 minutes.

C.   Report from Academic Council 每 Dr. Marks

 

a.         Admission policy revision for M. A. in Appalachian Studies approved

b.         Establish a graduate certificate in community Leadership approved

c.         M.A.T. in Teacher Education:  Decrease credits and admission policy revision approved

d.         Revise admission policies for M. Ed. In Special Education for the Advanced Studies in Specials Education Concentration approved

e.         Establish an articulation agreement between the graduate certificate in Biostatistics and M. P. H. Biostatistics concentration approved

            I.  Dr. Maxson handout the Application for Dual Graduate Programs form to council members with suggested edits to clarify use of form.  The motion was made, seconded and carried to accept the two suggestions on Dual Graduate Program form.

                       

 

G. Other:

 

            I. Dr. Maxson stated three emails have been sent to faculty, coordinators, and students regarding the upcoming award nominations and grant proposals.
