Lydia Gwyn holds a Master’s of Arts degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing from the University of Southern Mississippi and will graduate in December 2019 with a Master’s of Science in Information Sciences from the University of Tennessee.
She has worked for the Sherrod Library as a Student Engagement and Instruction Specialist for three years, where she teaches library instruction and directs the Library Ambassador Program. She has been teaching Library Research Skills for Cross-Disciplinary Studies for two years. Her research interests are in critical information literacy, metaliteracy, and in learning styles and theories. In her spare time she loves to hike, garden, knit, and write fiction. Her book of flash fiction, Tiny Doors, was published in December 2018 and is available from Another New Calligraphy.
