Frannie has taught for the Division of Cross-Disciplinary Studies since 2008 and has taught at ETSU for the past 15 years. Her research interests align with cultural studies and she has developed several special topics courses that are cross-disciplinary including Food Choice and Society; Reality Television and American Culture, #METOO Movement: the Good Climate Change; and Are We Alone? Our Search for Evidence of Alien Life. In her role as Academic Advisor, she also researches and presents on current trends in Advising Theory.
She enjoys musical theatre, coffee, and everything celestial, including “Ancient Aliens”. She was a “ghost hunter” with a paranormal investigative group and spent a night in Gilbreath Hall. Yes, it is haunted… She is vegan and advocate for animals whenever she has the chance.
