ETSU at Kingsport Services
ETSU at Kingsport has two locations (Allandale and Downtown). Allandale is a regional center, located on 97 acres and Downtown is located through leased space at the Kingsport Center for Higher Education (KCHE)—both locations offer day and evening graduate and undergraduate classes.

Allandale at 1501 University Blvd, Kingsport, TN 37660

Academic Advising: The Allandale location targets students with less than 60 semester hours earned.  In addition, advisors offer information to prospective students, career counseling and referrals. Kingsport advisors visit area high schools, community colleges, and career fairs to provide information to prospective students. For students attending the Allandale campus, appointments with advisors are either made through the main office at Allandale for those with less than 60 hours or the advisors may schedule their own appointments. Kingsport advisors also work with transfer students in assisting with referral to appropriate departmental advisors.

Tutoring: Tutoring is provided to students in Health Sciences, Sciences, Mathematics, English and Spanish. Tutoring is free and available in an open lab setting. Tutoring hours are posted each semester throughout the building and available by calling the main office. Additional tutoring is available through the Center for Academic Achievement on the main campus.

Proctoring: Proctoring for Online Courses is available by appointment by calling the main office.

Library Services: Computers are available in the KCHE Learning Resource area to access online library resources.

Computer Lab hours are posted each semester throughout the building and available by calling the Kingsport Campus main office for Allandale and the main office at KCHE for downtown. Note: students attending either location may use this lab.

Orientations: Kingsport advisors are available at new student orientations that are conducted on the Johnson City main campus. Kingsport Students also have the option to attend an online orientation in the event they are unable to attend on ground. Dual enrollment high school students attend a session at the Allandale location at the beginning of each term.

Dual Enrollment Program: Kingsport advisors work with area schools to provide information and follow-up for high school students interested in taking college courses while in high school. Advisors collect applications, provide extensive follow up and conduct a special orientation for the high school students. Tutoring is encouraged when needed to maximize dual enrollment success. Interested students may visit with the Kingsport advisors during school visits throughout the year and during special information meetings held at the ETSU at Kingsport Allandale facility.
