Wednesday, October 29, 2008JOHNSON CITY — On Monday, Nov. 3, at 7 p.m. in Brown Hall Auditorium, East Tennessee State University will host a free public showing of the documentary film “Everything’s Cool.”
The film, directed by Daniel Gold and Judith Hefland, approaches the topic of climate change in an amusing way. The documentary chronicles the efforts of scientists, journalists, and activists to inform Americans about global warming as a phenomenon caused by humans and creating a threat to the planet.
The event is sponsored by the ETSU Environmental Studies minor and ICE (Initiative for Clean Energy), an ETSU student group. The showing is arranged in cooperation with SOAPIFF, the Southern Appalachian International Film Festival.
