Thursday, December 18, 2008KINGSPORT—The Holston Business Development Center (HBDC), an incubator for entrepreneurial enterprises, presented its 2008 Entrepreneurial Spirit Award to the Pinnacle enterprises.
Alice White founded Pinnacle Equity Management in 2004. She entered the HBDC later that year, and she was joined by business partner Mary Beth Morgan in 2005.

Currently, the Pinnacle umbrella encompasses three enterprises: Pinnacle Equity Management arranges financing and mortgages; Pinnacle Property Investments, LLC, works with investors and property investments; and Pinnacle Property Service, LLC, deals with property management.
At the presentation, White said, “I am a huge fan of HBDC. If I had not been accepted into HBDC, I never would have started the business.”
The Holston Business Development Center is a “mixed-use small business incubator nurturing creativity and innovation,” and it partners with the Tennessee Small Business Development Center, the East Tennessee State University College of Business and Technology, and the Holston Business Group.
