TSBDC offers ‘Common Sense Marketing’ class

Friday, January 16, 2009JOHNSON CITY—The Tennessee Small Business Development Center (TSBDC) at East Tennessee State University will hold a class entitled “Common Sense Marketing” on Wednesday, Jan. 28, from 1-4 p.m. at the ETSU Innovation Laboratory.

The class will assist small business owners as they work to identify their target markets and evaluate the ways customers want to buy, with emphasis on allowing customers to influence the most effective methods of marketing.

“Let the economy stimulate a new look at your marketing plans,” suggests Dr. Bob Justice, TSBDC director. “You may think that your marketing dollars should be one of your first budget cuts. But now, more than ever, you need to work on getting your business in front of new customers.”

The class requires a $20 fee. To register, contact Teresa Blair at (423) 439-8505 or blairt@mail.tsbdc.org. Directions to the ETSU Innovation Lab can be found by visiting www.etsuilab.org/map.asp.
