National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day: Red Ribbon Giveaway and Free Testing

Friday, February 06, 2009D.P. Culp University Center Pedestrian Walkway (Hope for Tennesse RV)From 11 am - 3 pm The leading cause of death among black people in America according to is HIV/AIDS. About half (49%) of the people who contract HIV and are diagnosed with AIDS are black. To raise awareness of these startling facts, red ribbons will be distributed and free and confidential HIV screening tests, materials and information will be available on the Hope for Tennessee RV outside the Culp Center. Results will be available in 20 minutes.
