Telling the ETSU Story Visually

The ETSU logo is the face of our university. It’s the first thing people see, and it shapes their perception of us. However, the ETSU brand isn't just a logo. That's where strong design and branding come into play. 

Our logo, related graphics, and design choices communicate our values, our energy, and our dedication to quality. Together, they create a powerful and memorable brand that helps us connect with our diverse audiences.

Our Visual Identity

By consistently using the following visual identity standards, ETSU will strengthen its brand and better connect with our audiences. This will help us communicate more effectively, build a stronger reputation, and ultimately position ourselves as a leading university.

Typography

Typography is a key design element that contributes to the overall look and feel of our visual identity. The following are our standard fonts.

  • Headlines: Bebas Neue Bold
  • Subheadings: Merriweather Bold
  • Body copy: Roboto Light
  • Script 1: Oraqle
  • Script 2: Great Vibes
  • Logo: Rotis*

*Rotis is not available for download due to licensing rules. In some cases, the typefaces listed above may not be available. Arial and Roboto Slab are acceptable substitutes. 

Color

Color is one of the most impactful attributes in visual communication. ETSU's primary colors are navy blue and gold.

Logos and Marks

It is imperative that all communication tools carry the approved ETSU logo. Using the official logo correctly will maintain consistency and respect for the ETSU identity.
