Many professional schools require applicants to submit a composite letter of academic credential evaluation written by an undergraduate faculty committee. Our office performs this evaluation at the request of our pre-professional students once they have completed their core prerequisite courses and have taken at least 30 credit hours at ETSU.

Depending on the discipline of your chosen professional schools, the composite evaluation process should be completed approximately 12-18 months before you plan to enroll. Be aware of your application deadlines and our committee schedule and plan accordingly.

The composite evaluation process includes the submission of a personal statement and an interview process. Professional school entrance exams (such as the MCAT, DAT, and GRE) are not part of the evaluation process.
