ETSU’s Department of Media + Communication offers ACA courses to the public — in Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and (soon) Illustrator and After Effects.
Are you a teacher? ACA certification can help you integrate digital design into your classroom. Our courses can also be used to count toward Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Are you a creative professional looking to expand your technology skills and/or build your resume? The ACA courses are for you. Are you a business or nonprofit that wants its employees trained on the newest creative technologies employed in the marketing, advertising, and public relations fields? The beginner-level Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) courses includes 12 hours of instruction, a practice exam, and the actual certification exam. The first 4 hours (1st day) are delivered online, and the remaining 8 hours (2nd and 3rd day) are conducted onsite in Warf-Pickel Room 419. Course fees include all course materials, instructor fees, Adobe and ETSU swag, exam fees, and the option for a retake. Generally, beginner-level courses are intended for those learners who either have no experience using the software, or have not used it in the last 2-3 years.
