ETSU’s Department of Media and Communication has positioned itself as a thought leader in digital literacy, curriculum design, and experiential learning. Since 2011, instructors have built Adobe Creative Cloud software directly into courses. The Department also offers training and testing services—at no cost to MDCM graduate students and undergraduate majors/minors—that lead to the Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) credential. The ACA is the industry-recognized indicator of technical proficiencies in Adobe Creative Cloud programs: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.

The online, asynchronous training sessions are three weeks in length and culminate with an onsite test. To register, see Georgia Dover, Executive Aide, in 519 Warf-Pickel Hall.
