Dr. Greene’s social work practice experience has been in the areas of addiction, mental health, trauma, gender responsive treatment, and clinical supervision. Inspired by 20 years of practice experience, Dr. Greene’s research interests include recovering addiction professionals and relapse, practitioner well-being, and social work student self-care. Dr. Greene is in her second term on the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board where she serves as the chairperson for the standards committee. She also serves on the NASW’s ATOD specialty practice section committee and serves in the role of chairperson for this committee as well.
