CURRENT RESEARCH
After spending over ten years researching the pilgrimage and material culture of milagres in northeast Brazil, I am currently continuing my research on pilgrimage in a new location atSt. Nectan's Glen in Cornwall, Great Britain investigating pagan and nature based spirituality. I am also working with Dr. Melissa Schrift in Cuba investigating the healing aspects of Santeria (or Regla
de Ocha).
