Chi Sigma Iota

The mission of Chi Sigma Iota, the international honor society for professional counselors, counselor educators, and students is to promote scholarship, research, professionalism, leadership and excellence in counseling, and to recognize high attainment in the pursuit of academic and clinical excellence in the profession of counseling.

Eta Tau Sigma Chapter was established at East Tennessee State University in 1993. Our chapter has gone through a recent revitalization and currently have more than 45 active members including students and faculty. We also encourage alumni to stay involved. We focus on promoting excellence in the counseling profession and are involved in community service, professional development and advocacy.
