About this Conference:
This is the 33rd year of the ETSU SW VA Pediatric Conference geared towards primary care providers caring for children in East Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, Northwest North Carolina and Southeast Kentucky. Please join us as we discuss a number of clinical topics where new evidence is emerging for the prevention and treatment of conditions.

Overall Conference Objectives:

As a result of attending this activity, the participant will be able to:

  • Understand and articulate the difference between health disparity and health equity
  • Implement a strategy to promote a shift in your practice to health equity
  • Understand how the social determinants of health lead to health inequity
  • Identify common health problems in children in the Appalachian region

*In order to receive the Early Bird rate, registration fee must be paid in full at time of registration.

**Pre-registration closes on August 3, 2017. Pre-registered attendees must pay registration fees in full no later than August 3, 2017, to avoid paying the “On-Site Registration” fee that is an additional $50 for each registrant type.

Cancellation Policy:

Registration fees are refundable less a $50.00 administrative fee, for cancellations received in writing a minimum of 14 days prior to the activity date. Refunds are not provided when the registration fee is $50.00 or less, or when a cancellation request is received less than 14 days prior to the start of the activity.

ETSU Quillen College of Medicine reserves the right to cancel CME activities. If an activity is cancelled, registrants will receive a full refund.
