About the Conference: This is a one-day conference for rural Primary Care Physicians, Pharmacists and other providers who are interested in learning how to optimize their EHR systems through patient portals and report generation.  We will update attendees on prescription drug abuse and misuse in the region and provide information about successful programs and interventions at use in AppNET clinics.

Learning Objectives:

As a result of participating in this activity, the attendee should be able to...

  • Have a greater understanding about emerging health care delivery technologies
    • Including patient-centered EHR use
    • Including the new patient EHR portal and how to optimize its use in your clinics
    • Including learning about how much more you can do with your EHR data
  • Learn about cutting edge programs about substance abuse and prescription drug abuse
    • Including how the SBIRT program can help detect and treat alcohol addiction
    • Including an up-to-date series of presentations on the DIDARP prescription drug abuse programs in our region
