About this Conference: The Wellmont CVA Heart Institute and The Office of Continuing Medical Education at East Tennessee State University is pleased to present the 9th Annual Cardiovascular Summit, to address the latest hot topics in the diagnosis, treatment and management of cardiovascular disease.

Overall Conference Objectives:

As a result of attending this activity, the participant will be able to:

  • Understand how to evaluate elevated troponin levels
  • Understand new approaches to treatment and management of atrial fibrillation
  • Identify how the use of cardiac PET and other advanced imaging modalities contributes to better patient management
  • Recognize the latest diagnostic and management strategies for patients with peripheral vascular disease
