About this Conference:	A half-day conference held at ETSU Quillen College of Medicine. A large group didactic session begins the day to present the clinical anatomy and evidence-based approaches to the procedure. This is followed by small group, experiential sessions where participants will observe and identify relevant anatomy via pro-sections and virtual reality, demonstrate competency for these procedures on a surgical reality donors prepared through the modified Thiel embalming method, and apply the skills and knowledge gained in a simulation scenario with standardized patients.

Overall Conference Objectives:	As a result of attending this activity, the participant will be able to: Discuss the indications and potential adverse effects for lower extremity joint injections Identify relevant anatomy of the hip and knee, including the positioning and anatomical landmarks for the procedure Describe the relevant anatomy of the joint space and relate this to the location of needle entry Demonstrate the basic approach and technique for lower extremity joint evaluations and injections Describe the indications for using ultrasound for the different joints of the lower extremity

Fees:	All Registrants $250.00
Cancellation Policy:	Registration fees are refundable less a $50.00 administrative fee, for cancellations received in writing a minimum of 14 days prior to the activity date. Refunds are not provided when the registration fee is $50.00 or less, or when a cancellation request is received less than 14 days prior to the start of the activity. ETSU Quillen College of Medicine reserves the right to cancel CME activities. If an activity is cancelled, registrants will receive a full refund.
