About this Conference:
The Tennessee Sex Offender Treatment Board, housed administratively in the Tennessee Department of Correction, has been providing specialized training to mental health providers specific to the area of sex offender treatment for over twenty years. Courses offered during this annual conference include “New Provider” training for any mental health provider interested in becoming an approved sex offender treatment provider in Tennessee. Additional courses offered include: Sex Offender Risk Evaluation Training, Ethics Training, Risk Assessment Training, and Trauma Focused Treatment for Sex Offenders. The conference is open to anyone who wishes to attend and is mandatory for all approved evaluators and approved providers.

Overall Conference Objectives:

As a result of attending this activity, the participant will be able to:

  • Identify the purpose of a psychosexual evaluation and its purpose within the judicial system.
  • Describe how adherence to ATSA standards and guidelines impact services provided under the auspices of the Sex Offender Treatment Board.

Cancellation Policy:
Registration fees will be refunded, less a $50.00 administrative fee, for cancellations received in writing a minimum of 14 days prior to the activity date. No refunds will be given when the registration fee is $50.00 or less, or when a cancellation request is received less than 14 days prior to the start of the activity.
