About this Conference:
This one hour seminar, intended specifically for resident preceptors and faculty, is designed to explain the concept of wellbeing, factors that influence wellbeing, consequences of resident burnout, and to provide strategies and interventions to mitigate resident burnout and foster a culture of wellbeing.

Overall Conference Objectives:
As a result of attending this activity, the participant will be able to:

  • Explain the concept of wellbeing and factors that influence it
  • Describe downstream consequences of burnout and distress
  • Analyze personal wellbeing across multiple domains
  • Evaluate the extent to which wellbeing is supported across organizational levels
  • Describe interventions that could be implemented to foster a culture of wellbeing
