This year Carver Park & Recreation recognized Quillen College of Medicine as a " friend "making a real difference in our community.  The "Meet the Doctor", "Kid's Nutrition", "Senior Sit 2 Be Fit" and "Anatomy, How the Body Works" are just some of the programs that Quillen and the Medical Students have taught in conjunction with the "Color My World Healthy" Library  at Carver.   In March of this year Quillen Family Medicine Interest Group raised money thru a Bake Sale and Family Game Night that helped the Carver Kid's take a trip to Washington DC, tour the Capitol Bldg and Smithsonian.
