Primary Care and Prevention Research Day

The 10th Annual Primary Care & Prevention Research Day is a forum for health professionals in academic institutions, teaching hospitals, and practice sites to present or benefit from research, interventions, and programs intended to improve the health of and address disparities among populations within our Southern Appalachian region.
The conference is open to physicians, nurse practitioners, public health professionals, nurses, pharmacists, medical residents, health professions students, and others interested in primary care or prevention issues and research.
The conference will be held in the ground floor auditorium of Stanton-Gerber Hall (Building 178), Veterans Affairs campus, Johnson City, TN.

Call for Abstracts
The Planning Committee invites proposals for presentations at the conference. A wide range of primary care, prevention, and translational theory to action proposals will be considered.
Abstracts must be no longer than 300 words and must include the following headings: Background, Objective, Methods, Results, Conclusion, and Clinical/Community Implications. Both paper and poster presentation formats will be accepted.
