Bristol Regional Medical Center is a part of Ballad Health - an integrated healthcare system serving 29 counties of Northeast Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, Northwest North Carolina and Southeast Kentucky. It is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Health Care Organizations. With 288 beds available, it offers full acute care facilities, including:

All ancillary services are available. The Radiology Department offers full nuclear scanning capabilities, magnetic resonance imaging, PET scanning, and state of the art interventional services. There is a regional cancer therapy center, possessing a linear accelerator among other equipment. The medical staff includes all specialties and most sub-specialties.
Bristol Regional Medical Center is the only hospital in town, and its services are complemented by a wide range of community resources. Our program is the only residency based in the hospital, and enjoys excellent relationships with the hospital administration, medical and nursing staff.
