Billy Buselmeier, M.D.
I was born and raised in the rolling hills of Middle Tennessee. After attending college at Lipscomb University in Nashville, I came to Johnson City for medical school at ETSUs Quillen College of Medicine. I came away from medical school with many wonderful experiences, but the best was meeting my wife Amy. After I graduated from Quillen, we spent three great years in Greenwood, South Carolina at Self Regional Healthcare's Family Medicine Residency. When residency was complete, we came back home to East Tennessee so I could be on faculty at ETSUs Family Medicine Residency Program in Kingsport. I am very proud and honored to work at my alma mater.
I am also proud to be a Family Physician. Family Medicine provides me with a great diversity and flexibility of practice opportunities. Particular interests of mine include both hospital and outpatient medicine, sports medicine, and pediatrics.
However, I think the best way to learn about a person is through their values; my highest priorities in life are to serve God and love others. My wife and daughter are the most important people in the world to me. I am blessed to be a physician, and strive to bless others through whatever abilities I have been given. And I love getting outside and exploring this beautiful area of Appalachia I call home.
