New employees for Internal Medicine

Camille CassellaCamille Cassella is originally from Jacksonville, Florida where she attended the University of North Florida. Camille completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Multimedia Journalism in December 2016. After completing her degree Camille moved to Johnson City, Tennessee, where she worked for the Johnson City School District as a substitute teacher before joining the staff of the Department of Internal Medicine as a Technical Clerk. Camille enjoys reading, hiking, and watching movies.






Isatou BahIsatou Bah, originally from The Gambia, West Africa moved to Johnson City to complete her BSc in Public Health at the East Tennessee State University following three years working in infant immunology research at the medical research council at home. She has recently joined the Department of Internal Medicine as a research assistant. Isatou is an avid reader, who loves cuisine, photography and her yoga practice.






Beth HilbertBeth started working for the College of Medicine, Internal Medicine in August 1996 to December 2012, as an Information Research Technician. While employed with Internal Medicine, Beth worked in different capacities of the department with the faculty, residents and fellows. After leaving ETSU she was employed with Happy Valley Middle School as the secretary/bookkeeper. Beth is returning to the College of Medicine, Internal Medicine as the executive aide to Dr. Jeff Summers, Chairman.

Beth resides in Elizabethton with her husband Danny and their two Schnauzers, Bentley and Abbie. She also has a daughter Holly who also lives in Elizabethton and is an elementary teacher with Carter County Schools. Beth and her family are very active in their church. They like to camp, have picnics, and go shopping at antique stores and enjoy attending the Happy Valley Warriors high school Friday night football games.


Vikki HiseVikki began working at East Tennessee State University in 2015 as the Department Secretary for Housing and Residence Life. She transferred in August 2016 to the Department of Information Technology where she worked as Executive Aide in Academic Technology Services as well as Executive Aide to the CIO/Senior Vice Provost for ITS. She assisted in providing training, resources and support needed to use technology in teaching and research. During this time she was also the TN eCampus course builder and contact for the ETSU TN eCampus Adjunct Faculty Contracts.

Vikki transferred in February 2018 to Internal Medicine as Financial Coordinator. She now provides support to the Business Manager, as well as manages, maintains and monitors financial data. Vikki is currently a senior at ETSU where she is working on her BSPS with a concentration in Organizational Leadership. She plans to graduate in 2019. She resides in Johnson City with her husband, Jeremy and sons: Alex age 16, Evan age 15 and Jeremiah age 14. They enjoy spending time at sporting events, church, hiking, theatre plays and traveling.
