Juggling School and Family
It seems overwhelming at first, but you quickly realize medical school gives you more time and flexibility than undergrad because the ONLY thing to focus on is school.

Life Outside of The Classroom
Johnson City offers a lot of outdoor activities, and downtown Johnson City is surprisingly nice, even during crazy times with COVID.

Prior Life

I played music, sold Porsches, and made my way here. If I can do it in my 30s, anyone can. It’s never too late to pursue what you really want to do.

Words of Wisdom
Medical school is a marathon, not a sprint. Take each day or week at a time, and don’t lose sight of the fact you made it here because you deserve to be here. Believe in yourself, and never be afraid to reach out to staff or fellow students for help. We’re all in this together.
