Words of Wisdom
Do things that scare you. Do things that make you feel uncomfortable. This is easy to do in medical school because we are faced with so much that probably scares us, and this is a good thing. Sometimes your comfort zone holds you back from the life we’re meant to live. Life is too short to live in the comfort zone. Most things of worth are only obtained by stepping out of your comfort zone.
Identify lies in your life, and replace them with truth. We hear so many voices—whether it’s in our own minds or outside voices. They tell us we’re not good enough or that everything is meaningless. Seek truth with all your heart, and you will find it. You are made good enough. There is grace. There is a purpose.
