Current Honors-in-Discipline Scholars Programs
Each of our 24 Honors-in-Discipline programs has its own unique curriculum designed by the faculty in that discipline. Students in each program take a minimum of 18 hours of honors coursework in their discipline.
This coursework generally counts toward the student's major, allows each student to work closely with faculty in the discipline, and includes hours earned during the completion of an Honors Thesis.
Every program culminates in the Senior Honors Thesis, a year-long research or creative project undertaken by the HID Scholar under the direction of a professor in the discipline.
