ETSU’s School of Graduate Studies to hold new student orientation


JOHNSON CITY (August 15, 2013) — The East Tennessee State University School of Graduate Studies will hold orientation for new graduate students on Monday, Aug. 19, in the D.P. Culp University Center auditorium from 3:30-6 p.m.

The afternoon will include information about the services of Graduate Studies and an introduction to the Graduate and Professional Student Association. Also featured will be legal issues, library assistance, research information, and “extras” such as assistantships, tuition scholarship, research grants and thesis and dissertation award programs. Financial aid and general campus services will also be highlighted, along with Graduate Studies academic policies.

Door prizes will be given once an hour and there will be refreshments and a social hour at the end of the program.
