Entrepreneurs Club
JOHNSON CITY (March 31) — The East Tennessee State University student Entrepreneurs’ Club will welcome David McClaskey and David Jones of Pal’s Business Excellence Institute (BEI) as its speakers on Monday, April 4, at 5 p.m. in room 322 of Sam Wilson Hall.
The guest speakers’ topic will be “Integrating Operational Excellence in a Small Entrepreneurship Company.”
McClaskey is president and Jones is vice president of Pal’s BEI, only the 23rd company to win the State of Tennessee Quality Award, and by far the smallest, with a staff of three people.
Pal’s BEI was founded in 2000 by McClaskey and Pal’s Sudden Service, a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award-winning local fast-food chain. The institute provides training and consulting, based on Pal’s Sudden Service’s world-class business practices, to organizations wishing to achieve management at the highest possible level.
Jones is also an adjunct instructor at ETSU and co-founder of Edamar Inc., an award-winning educational products company.
