ETSU technology programs receive ABET accreditation

JOHNSON CITY (Sept. 9) – Technology programs within East Tennessee State University’s Department of Engineering Technology, Surveying and Digital Media have received re-accreditation from the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), the recognized commissions for college and university programs in applied science, computing, engineering, and engineering technology.

ABET calls upon 2,200 experts from industry, academia and government to evaluate programs to ensure each meets the quality standards that produce graduates prepared to enter a global workforce.
