College of Nursing programs nationally ranked

JOHNSON CITY – East Tennessee State University’s College of Nursing is being recognized nationally for the quality its online programs. The U.S. News and World Report recently ranked the ETSU College of Nursing 28th in the nation among online graduate nursing degree programs offered by nursing schools all over the country.

The rankings were released earlier this week. They are based on factors such as graduation rates, academic and career support services offered to students and admissions selectivity.

“We are thrilled to be included again this year among the best of the best online nursing programs in the country,” said Dr. Wendy Nehring, dean of ETSU’s College of Nursing. “Last year, we ranked 61st and we believe the jump to 28th speaks volumes in regards to what we offer here at ETSU. Having provided nursing education to this region for more than 60 years, our college continues to strive for excellence in all that we do.”
