Appointments are available Monday through Friday except University Holidays - 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
HOW TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT
You can be seen at the clinic by calling 423-439-4225 to schedule an appointment. We begin taking calls at 8:00 a.m. We schedule the last appointment for 3:30 p.m. If you feel you need to be seen on the same day and the appointments for that day are filled, then your name will be placed on a "wait list" or you may be evaluated by an RN or possibly referred to an Urgent Care Facility, the Emergency Room, or scheduled for an appointment the next available time. If your problem requires a specialist physician visit, you will be referred for the appropriate care.
We request that you do not wear any fragrances in the clinic because of students and staff with allergy or asthma conditions.
Please bring your ETSU Student ID Card for clinic services. You must also bring your insurance card if you would like Student Health to file your insurance.
We require a one hour advance notice cancellation on appointments. Physical Exam appointments required 24 hours advanced notice of cancellation. Failure to notify us of cancellation or no-show will result in placing a $20.00 hold on your student account.
Current semester enrolled students are not charged for an office visit consultation, however there are charges for all physical exams, (preventative health exams), laboratory tests, immunizations, medications, procedures and women's health exams and pap tests. Notification that your lab results are available will be sent to your secure ETSU email account as "encrypted".
The clinic will file your insurance. You will be responsible for paying the portion of your charges that your insurance does not.
If your visit results in an unpaid balance on your account, a Clinic Debt Hold will be placed on your student account. You will not be able to receive your semester grades, register for any classes, drop/add any classes, or graduate until the clinic debt is paid in full. You will be sent a statement each month and will be given the opportunity to pay your debt during the semester the debt was incurred. If you do not pay the debt by the end of your semester, your debt may be transferred to the Bursar's Office and become part of your student account and may be turned over to collections. You will be responsible for any collection fees associated with collection of your account balance.
