Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy

East Tennessee State University

Residency application chances of success are increased with research training and presentations.

Many diverse assets make a candidate more competitive for residency training. One such asset is demonstrable research experience, including poster presentations and publications (see reference below.) In this way, the CPRx fosters a culture of preparation for the keen competition for choice residency positions, and helps place GCOP graduates into the matches of their choice. Along with all of the aims of the college, the personalization of the Pharm.D. degree through participation in research is an excellent competitive edge when GCOP graduates seek the best residency positions.
