The subcommittee recommends approval of the course with recommended changes. The course covers material not currently taught at the university.

II. Non-Substantive Curriculum Change in Educational Leadership, Postsecondary and Private Sector Leadership
The subcommittee recommends approval of the noted changes from in the Rationale For Proposal, the word “determining” should be changed to “determine.”

NOTE: THE COMMITTEE RECOMMENDS COMBINING THE FOLLOWING FOUR PROPOSALS INTO ONE PROPOSAL AS ALL PERTAIN TO ONE DEGREE (DIFFERENT CONCENTRATIONS).
III. Non-Substantive Curriculum Change in Educational Leadership, Postsecondary and Private Sector Leadership. Subcommittee recommended the following changes:
A. Correct the spelling of “Furhter” to “Further in the Rationale For
Proposal.
B. Include the names of the graduate faculty who will be teaching the course in the Staffing section.
C. Include the entire curriculum in the proposal.

IV. Non-Substantive Curriculum Change in Educational Leadership, Administrative Endorsement. The subcommittee recommends approval with the following change:
A. Include the entire curriculum in the proposal.

V. Non-Substantive Curriculum Change in Educational Leadership, Classroom Leadership. The subcommittee recommends approval with the following change:

VI. Non-Substantive Curriculum Change in Educational Leadership, School Leadership. The subcommittee recommends approval with the following change:

VII. Non-Substantive Curriculum Change for the Master of Science in Nursing Degree. Proposed change to waive GRE requirement for students with an undergraduate GPA of 3.2 or higher.

Graduate Student Teaching Award proposal was presented by Dr. Wayne Gillespie. The proposal was approved by the council.
The Graduate Council will not meet in December 2007. The next meet will be held January 28, 2008.
