Major Research Grants aim to encourage faculty initiation, development and continuation of research and scholarship projects that have the potential for enhancing productivity and for attracting external funding. Such projects include all fields and disciplines, including the basic and health sciences and non-sciences such as the humanities and the fine and performing arts. Grants are awarded for the fiscal year July 1 through June 30. Any RDC-allocated money must be encumbered within this time period. These costs can include faculty summer stipends, student assistants, supplies, equipment, and travel as described in the RDC Major Grant Application Guidelines.
