ETSU has been monitoring the outbreak of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and preparing contingency plans as the virus spreads across the state of Tennessee, our nation, and the world. The situation is changing quickly, and the Counseling Center will follow guidelines established by the university to ensure public health protocol is met. BucsPress2 is a 24-hour mental health help line for ETSU Students. It provides FREE, confidential crisis counseling over the phone. It is staffed 24/7/365 by counseling professionals under contract with The Counseling Center.

- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
- Cover your cough with the bend of an elbow or tissue.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth.
- Routinely clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces.
- Maintain a distance of at least 3 feet from people who are coughing or sneezing. When you are sick, keep your distance from others.
