Haven, Sexual Misconduct Training is an online course that will empower you to make well-informed decisions about issues that affect your college years and beyond. This training is required of all new students to East Tennessee State University.
You will receive an email from the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs 2 with instructions on how to complete Haven.

Is Haven required?
Yes, Haven is required of all new ETSU students
What are the deadlines?
You will receive a Haven email at the start of your first term at ETSU. Once you complete part 1 you will be notified via your ETSU email to access Part 2 beginning 30 days after your complete part 1.
How do I know when I am finished?
Your Haven dashboard will indicated that you have completed the program once you are finished.
Who is notified if I don't complete it?
If you are a new undergraduate student who does not complete the program your name will be submitted to the Dean of Students Office. If you are a new graduate student the Office of Graduate Studies will be notified. If you are a pharmacy student the Office of the College of Pharmacy will be notified and if you are a medical school student the Office of the Medical School will be notified.
Are university employees required to complete Haven?
University employees who are new students to the university are required to complete Haven.
Who is required to complete this annually?
Some student leaders may be required to complete Haven annually (RA's, Judicial Board, Student Athletes, etc.)
Can you stop and start Haven at anytime?
Yes, Haven will track your participation. You can log back in at anytime and start where you left off.
