Q: How do I access the TN eCampus Permit Form?

The TN eCampus permit form can be filled out online at:  Once filled out please allow 24-36 hours for the permit(s) to be entered.  Once the permit has been issued students should login to Goldlink to register for the course by going to Registration and then Add or Drop Courses.

Q: Why do TN eCampus courses show as being Closed in Goldlink?

TN eCampus courses require a permit in order to be open for registration.  Students should complete the online form to request a permit for the course.

Q: Can TN eCampus courses be audited?

No, students may not audit TN eCampus courses. These courses must be taken for credit.

Q: Where do I login to my TN eCampus course site?

Students will login to TN eCampus courses at:  Students will not have access to courses until the first day of each semester. 

Q: Are my login username and password different (How do I login)?

Yes, you will have a different TN eCampus login and password than your official ETSU login. The password will initially be based on the following but you should reset the password on your first login.

Username:  the first initial of your first name + your full last name + the month and day of your birthday  Example:  jsmith0327

Password:  the password is your full six digit birthdate (mmddyy).  Example:  032781

Q: Do TN eCampus courses cost more than ETSU courses?

TN eCampus courses have a ~$98 per credit hour fee in addition to ETSU tuition and fees.  Students should consult the Tuition and Fee Schedule for exact numbers: and may consult the Tuition Estimator for an estimation of the total cost for courses:

Q: Where can I find the books and materials I will need?

You will find information on the books you will need to purchase at the TN eCampus bookstore website:  You may choose to purchase your books elsewhere but you must make sure you correct the same ISBN for the correct edition and author.

Q: Will my teacher be located at ETSU?

Your instructor may be located at any of the universities or community colleges in the Tennessee Board of Regents system.  The Goldlink listing for the course will list the delivering institution.  Students are not assigned to specific course instructors until the first day of class.

Q: Are TN eCampus courses entirely online?

TN eCampus courses are offered entirely online with the exception of some courses that may require you to have a proctored mid-term and/or final exam. 

Q: How do I schedule a proctoring appointment?
