The ACCUPLACER test is a computerized test and is not timed.
IMPORTANT ACCUPLACER TESTING INFORMATION:
Students who wish to challenge their placement in Learning Support may do so by taking the ACCUPLACER test. The challenge may be attempted one time per semester. The challenge may not be attempted after the first day of class for an area of Learning Support for which the student is enrolled. Example: Student is registered in ENGL1010-Lxx for Fall 2019. They may not challenge their placement in that course after the first day of Fall 2019 classes. A $30.00 non-refundable fee is charged for the challenge. This fee must be paid when the reservation is made to take the test and is payable only by credit card.
Photo ID Required on day of test. Only calculators supplied by the University Testing Center may be used for Mathematics test.
- Students who are required to take the Accuplacer test for initial placement in Learning Support courses are not required to pay the $30.00 fee.
Following are the cut-off scores that need to be met in order to be exempt from Learning Support classes:
Reading - 250
English - 250
Math - 250
