Dr. Brian Partin, Director of University School, was honored in our Nation's Capital as Tennessee's 2019 Middle Level National Distinguished Principal (NDP) on October 11, 2019. The NDP program was established by the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) in 1984 and has served as the premier recognition program for elementary and middle level principals since the inception of the program.
Joining Dr. Partin at this year's celebration was Tennessee's 2019 Elementary Level
NDP, Dr. Stacy Edwards, an ETSU alumni, and three Tennessee Principals who serve on
the NAESP Board of Directors: Mrs. Kimbrelle Lewis, NAESP President-elect, Dr. Kevin
Armstrong, NAESP Minority Director, and Dr. Ann-Marie Gleason, NAESP Zone 4 Director.
Tennessee is recognized as a state that works to develop Principal leadership to serve
at both the State and National levels and we are honored to have Dr. Partin and Dr.
Edwards as representatives for both our state and University community.
