iTunes U- Creating & Distributing Educational Content

iTunes U is a portion of Apple’s iTunes Store dedicated to the distribution of free educational multimedia content. ETSU has built a strong reputation among participating institutions from around the United States for their continued use of iTunes U and the recognition they have received from the program. This workshop will show you how you can participate by introducing a variety of means available to ETSU faculty and staff for creating content. Attendants will also be guided through the process of adding content to the ETSU iTunes U site using the iTunes U Site Manager.

Objectives:

• Understand the types of content that can be shared via iTunes U
• Become familiar with the resources available to ETSU faculty and staff for creating multimedia content
• Learn how to gain access to the iTunes U Site Manager
• Understand Collections and how to create and manage them
• Know how to add items to your collection(s)
