Oganizing Images

Tables are a great way to organize images, but they must be used in the proper manner. The maximum size of your table should be 500 pixels.

If you place images that are too large in columns, the table will expand to accommodate the image layout. However the webpage layout will be affected and you might see your left navigation shift out of alignment as well as some of the template color. The example below shows what happens when too many images are placed in a table.

The correct thing to do is decrease the size of the image in each column, keeping the total size of all the images less than 500px. You could also decrease the number of columns in your table, so instead of having four images in four columns, have three images in three columns and use additional rows for additional images.  It is best to use thumbnails and have these images link to the larger images.
